Fees

We are a Fee-Only financial planning firm. This means we do not, under any circumstances, accept commissions or referral fees. This eliminates conflicts of interest and allows us to select the best investments for you. We also do not charge fees based on a “percentage for assets under management”. Firms that do so may recommend that you invest solely with them, rather than explore other potentially profitable business or real estate ventures. This way we can be completely objective about your investments. We disclose all fees up front.

We do not compete with stockbrokers or the many investment advisors who provide free or low-cost financial plans in return for asset management. Doing so would be like a doctor giving you free medical advice, but only if you buy all your medications from him/her. Competent advice is what our clients are paying for. And, like a doctor, our fees are based on a flat rate.

There is no charge for your initial consultation. After our interview, we will quote a fee for the work you would like us to complete.

Flat fee for a Comprehensive Written Financial Plan
The fee for the comprehensive written financial plan will be charged as a flat dollar amount, agreed upon by the client in advance. One-half of the fee is due at the beginning of the engagement and one-half upon completion of the plan.
Retainer Agreement
This is an annual fee, paid quarterly. This fee includes, but is not limited to, financial planning, investment management, retirement planning, estate planning, tax planning, and tax preparation services. The fee is based on your investable net worth and income, not on assets under management, capital gains, or capital appreciation.

Call us for a no-charge initial conference. We will discuss your financial situation and determine how we can help you.
