Russell D. Francis, CPA, CFP

Russ is a Certified Financial Planner™ Professional and a Certified Public Accountant with over 20 years of experience in investing and tax planning. He became a fee-only financial planner and wealth manager in 1997.

Previously, Russ taught high school physics and served 10 years as an Editorial Systems Manager for the Los Angeles Times where he shared the Pulitzer Prize for reporting on the 1992 Los Angeles Riots. Russ earned his CFP® designation from the College for Financial Planning. He also has a post- baccalaureate certificate in accounting from Portland State University, and a BA in chemistry and teaching certificate from California State University, Fullerton.

Russ is an active member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA), Oregon Society of Certified Public Accountants (ORCPA), and National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA).
